Master server mismatch?

In these days I suggest to my UT2004 friends to try something different (clusterball) and seems they like it. 6-7 more italians in the sky!

I notice here a strange problem that happen to my friend.
He has an old account (2 years old) and it still work fine in cb.com.

He dowload the xdreamcc (v. 1.3.0) to play with us in the arena server (and he register itself in arena site) but...
he COULD see the arena server in the HOSTLIST
b) he COULD NOT join none of then, 'cause when he start CB (via xdreamcc) he find only cb.com server. o_O

Obviously he set the "arena server" checkbox. Nothing to do.
He tried also the last upgrade. Now the program crash.
Uninstall, delete all, reinstall... nothing.

What's happen? The rest of my friends did the same things and they all can join arena server.

nice that you play Clusterball on the Arena Server
Feuerpfeil, the author of the xdcc, is at the moment on the gamesconvention with Hanniball and Rainlords.
Are you sure that he did the right configuration on the xdcc?
He has to mark the Arena Server with a dot in "Properties"

I guess, when feuerpfeil is back and the Problem has not been solved, he could help your friend.
Maybe its helpfully for feuerpfeil to know which System your friend use.

when I come back from holiday I'll ask to may friends his PC config.

first, sorry for my horrible english.

i had the same problem and the greenhorn too. i know from him that he killed his pc and reinstalled windows. i did a "systemwiederherstellung" (@moderators: please translate ) and after it i could connect to the arena server.

Sorry for my late answer, but during the games convention I didn't has a lot of time and after that I've overlooked your question

But nevertheless and unfortunately SCHNICO told you the right answer i think
I saw the phenomenon at Greenhorns PC live and in action and we both tried a lot to solve this problem without any result

So your friend has to make a "format c:" or if he runs XP a System Recovery could help!
