I downloaded and installed the full package from this site. Playing works great. But every day, when I startup my Rechner, windows starts configuring XdreamCC. You know, the small window in which the process of configuring is displayed with a progress-bar.
I don't think it is necessary to do this more than once, is it? How can I stop this from happening?
some of the dll's or ocx's on your pc was replaced with an older version
and the xdreamcc-link repairs the installation
in some cases this process isn't necessary
so ...
delete the link on your desktop and create a link to xdreamcc.exe
with drag and drop
this link will not produce this effect
I had some other minor problems with my laptop so I re-imaged it. Then downloaded the whole Xdream-package again and installed it. Now I get this error: "Laufzeitfehler '76' Pfad nicht gefunden." I saw some other laufzeitfehler problems in the forum but not this one. Hidden hostfile is not the problem here.
Zum Laufzeitfehler 75 gabs schon mal ne Anfrage...

hier die Lösung des Probs:
auf seinem PC hat irgend ein Programm
die Datei HOSTS, die bei WinXP im Ordner
C:\Programme\system32\drivers\etc\
stehen sollte, auf hidden (versteckt) gesetzt.
Dadurch wurde die Datei nicht gefunden.
Habe im Arbeitsplatz - Extra - Ordneroptionen - Ansicht -
- Dateien und Ordner - Versteckte Dateien und Ordner:
das Häckchen auf "Alle Dateien und Ordner anzeigen" gestellt.
Dann bin ich zur "hosts" Datei (oben beschrieben) und hab mit der
rechten Maustaste - Eigenschaften das Häckchen bei "Versteckt" weggenommen.
Das wars auch schon

Ich habe mit chris über den von mir weiter zurück im Thread beschriebenen Fehler "unvorhergesehener Fehler" gesprochen und wir haben das Problem (glaube ich) erkannt.
Ich hatte das Commandcenter in einen eigenen Ordner installiert statt in den Clusterballordner. Laut Chris kann es in solchem Fall zu diesem Fehler kommen

I don't get that far. The error-message appears after clicking Start/Clusterball/XdreamCC but the program never starts. The installs tab is not reachable in the normal way. But I managed to change the path in XDreamCC.ini and now it works!
