Preface

Dear Clusterball-players and friends,
now it’s time, to herald a new Clusterball- Era. As some of you already noticed, the TrendVerlag  (partner publisher of the well known PEARL Versand) has released a new Clusterball Version in the German market – the  Clusterball Gold Edition 2006.

When the development of this new version last year started, we worked very close together with the TrendVerlag  on their request. Thus, we assumed the complete project management and developed together with the TrendVerlag this new  Clusterball Gold Edition 2006.
The highlights of this new version are the brand-new venues called Electronica, Shoot Loop, Pole Position and Helter Skelter. We never had such graphical excellent venues in our beloved game, nor a team-game was this racy and never there was a complete Looping to fly through.
 
What’s new and what’s changing?
First of all, we have a new website. The old one has been in use now for nearly 2 years and needed a relaunch urgently. Now we have reached Version 7. The new site doesn’t use frames anymore and due to new technologies like AJAX things like playerstats and logged-in-members load automatically without loading the whole site completely new. Using a site without frames is furthermore beneficial for search-rankings, not to mention Clusterball.de is found on number1 for ages although. Some things will change too, some good, some not so. We believe, we have found a very good solution, so that we all will continue playing and getting a lot of new players again.

New Version
Behalf of TrendVerlag selling the Clusterball Gold Edition 2006 officially in the stores, we will change from Version 1.1 to the Gold Version too. Indeed we will keep the Version 1.1 playable on the server for some time, but  we will focus on the new version in the future. It might be, that some don’t like the optic of the 1.3, but we are sure that the new venues will make up for this. For this purpose we will beware the community of splitting off with different versions.

Free Demoversion
There will be a free demo version of the  Clusterball Gold Edition, with the venues Egypt and Pole Position. They will be able to play on our server for free. As long as the Arena-Server will support the Version 1.100 there will also be the possibility to play the old Venues.

Special agreement for  all privious players
We have an agreement with TrendVerlag, that all players, who had been loyal to the Arena the last 2 years,  could buy the new Clusterball Gold Edition 2006 to a very extreme cheap prize as an upgrade.

We offer to all players, registered until the 20.10.2006, the upgrade version as a download version for 5 Euro. You will get the original Clusterball Gold Edition 2006 for only 5 Euro. Means 15 Venues for 5 Euro. Makes 33 cent per Venue!!

The metal box- version with all 15 venues  is sold in the stores for 19,95 €.

We think this is a more than a fair offer to you. In our new shop you can buy this version directly. Each registered member possesses in its profile an online code,  playing with so far. This code must be entered in the shop at the booking and authorizes the user to buy the cheaper version UNIQUE and only once.
In other words: For all new registered Clusterball-players applies: There will be just one demo-version with the venues  Egypt  and PolePosition for playing free. We offer in our shop downloading the full version for 19,95 €. Order online, pay, copy the code into the profil and start immediately!

Upcoming
In the near future we will push some tournaments again, among other things we announced to start soon  the Double-Decker- Tournament. In addition there will be some improvements, we won’t tell today, we think today there are a lot of amazing new things to see!

Final
It had cost incredible nerves and patient, to let nothing come out for this long time. Only at our Arena-Meeting we could show you some things, even though we fought long time what we could show you and what we couldn’t.
We are very glad finding great partners with EMG Music and nullbd. They  providede us with a great song. We believe that these guys will go their way and we are very proud to be with them from the beginning.

With our other partners we will reach a lot, that will do good to our community.
