UPDATE.

I was too confident about my achievement. The solution found gave me a lot of problems and I had to re-install Win7 again and again.

The ATI 8.x drivers are too old and Win7 automatically will update some files that breaks the Clusterball fixes. And, of course, if I refuse to update ...

IT WORKS!!! NOW IT WORKS!

The only way I found to fix the problem is to downgrade my ATI drivers to the 8.6Vista version.

I tryed this version:

..and IT WORKS!

I don't know if a new version from the 8.6 ...

@ Hannibal: OmegaDrivers is the very 1st site I thought to an alternate driver, but that site informs the Win7 Ati Driver isn't ready at the moment (if I understood right).

However, one of my friends (the only one who has Win7 and can play CB without problems) has an ATI 4600.. so I will ask him to ...

FOUND THE PROBLEM (BUT NOT THE SOLUTION)

I tryed a big test: restart from scratch.

I removed every unnecessary hardware, like my X& Gaming keyboard and the SB Audigy2 Audio card.

Thats my test:
1) Format-reinstall Win7 32bit without other softvare/drivers
2) install CB2010 - start CB - error ...

(tut mir leid, aber ich sprache nur english)

First of all, BIG thanks to Hannibal&C. for the new XDCC. Less complicate to install than before (non-german people have to guess how to click in the past version, to install CB)

The load&Save config feature works. Very nice feature ...

Just to inform you, Clusterball is running now also on Windows 7 in 32 and 64 bit version! Just played in 1920 x 1200 pixel solution on my machine :D

Tried changing key (also on the mouse, the control pad). Changed also leyboard, from my X6 miscorosoft to a stanrdard PS2 ...

I have Win7 Premium 32bit (without the XP capability).
I tried the compatibility mode under XP ..and doesn't work.
My friend has Win7pro ..tried in "virtual XP".. and doesn't work.

The strange thing is that another friend with Win7 can play normally... dunno why.
I have no knowledge enough about ...
