3DGM gm_OpenGLError

Hello,

recently downloaded clusterball from clusterball.de

when i try to start clusterball i get the following error

i used to play many years ago and remember a lot of people having errors like this one

3DGM Error:

gm_OpenGLError
err param: "out of memory"
Last Win32 error: #8

My pc has the following

Win7 64 bit SP1
8 gb ram
1gb ati radeon hd 5670 video card
1000 gb hd


I have updated my video driver with opengl but still don't work

i reverted back to original driver since the opengl driver didn't work

i remember that this was an easy error to fix but can't remember how

any and all assistance is appreciated

I think is no graphik problem ,win 64 is the prob and is give no fix for it. clusterball is not running under win 64. sorry

i don't even think it's because of win 64. i have win 64 too and there are no probs so it could be because of your pc :/

I think it's propably the ATI graphics card causing your trouble. CB always had some trouble with ATI cards. Maybe you try to install an older version of the driver or maybe try to install a OMEGA driver instead.

any recommendations which version of old ATI drivers to try out?

i found a website that has old ATI catalyst drivers from 0.2.5 through 11.6 with dozens in between

Hmm good question, maybe some of the players using a ATI graphics card could write down their driver number that works with CB, so you could start with that one.

Hello

I figured my videocard was not optimized for CB. I've read ATI have most problems with CB. It works fantastic with all new games, just not old classics
